You are viewing a fantastic set of 8 English ladderback chairs – 2 arm chairs and 6 side chairs. They are the ultimate kitchen / dining chair and get their name from the ladder type style to the backs of these comfortable chairs. The seats themselves are hand woven from rush. They have a gorgeous rustic, farmhouse look to them which is all the rage if you read Interiors Design magazines and these will last you for a lifetime and more.
They are crafted from the finest oak which has a lovely grain and veneer to it. These chairs are very sturdy and solid and are very good at surviving the vigours of everyday family life. There are no wobbles to the joints and they are very comfortable to sit in. I have a similar set in my kitchen.

Oak Refectory Table Set Ladderback Chairs Kitchen Dining
You are viewing an oustanding farmhouse refectory table and chair set in oak. I hope the photos do this set some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh. The chairs and table match and would make for a great dining set – they are good enough for a main dining table piece and also great for a kitchen set up, especially if you like the farmhouse, rustic look. The set of 8 ladderback chairs are the ultimate rustic look.
The table has been hand crafted from the finest oak and is solid and chunky with no wobbles. The legs are hand turned and very chunky linking the stretchers to the bottom. The apron to the table has refrectory style hand carved sections perhaps better illustrated by the close up photos. The table extends so you can make more space with it when required for dinner parties and the like. The table is offered in very good condition and sits eight chairs when unextended.
The table comes with a set of 8 oak ladderback as shown in the picture and they are a perfect match. This is a lovely set of French Country oak ladderback chairs with rush seats. They came from the Northern area of France. The chairs have a design which comes from a ladder rung shape on the back rest to the seat. The legs are gracefully curved with turned feet. They have stretchers from the front to the back. The color is a rich dark brown oak with a warm patina.

8 English Rustic William Mary Dining Chairs Gothic Farm
You are viewing a fantastic set of 8 William and Mary style high back chairs. Two arms and six sides. The William and Mary style is from the Tudor era in 17th Century England and again is perfect for those looking for the cosy, rustic, provincial farmhouse look – they also look great in the Great Hall of a castle!
These are solid and sturdy, wobble free and very comfortable to sit in – perhaps made even more comfortable with some patterned tie down cushions – a great project for after the purchase so you can match it in with your colour scheme.
The chairs are oak and match the table perfectly. They actually have quite a Gothic look to them. They are also incredibly solid and chunky and will last for ever. We bought this set from a dealer in Debenham Suffolk, they are offered in great shape. Get your bids in early.
